  • Also known as Computer Graphics, this course covers a wide range of themes and concepts within Graphic Design. Graphic Design 1 focuses on the “art for art’s sake” aspect of creating and using the computer as a tool for expression. Graphic Design 2 focuses on the real world applications of the programs taught in class. Throughout the course, students explore topics such as AI Art/presence in their world, brand identity, web design, and the evolution of technology in art.

  • Also known as CAD, students explore the programs TurboCAD and AutoCAD. CAD supports students in their understanding and translating of 2 Dimensions to 3 Dimensions through observational drawing and perspective drawing methods. They will gain experience using these programs by using it as a tool to create art, and as a guide in architectural design. My goal is to broaden this course beyond engineering learning outcomes, and focus on designing in 3 Dimensions. My hope is to gain access to other programs such as Blendr since it is most popular among students who are interested in CAD.
